BEEF STEAK WITHOUT FRYING


Steaks are available in different types like for Fish,Goat,Beef etc.Beef Steak is a flat cut of beef usually cut perpendicular to the muscle fibers.Today we will see a Beef steak recipe.Beef steaks are usually grilled, pan-fried, or broiled.The more tender cuts from the loin and rib are cooked quickly using dry heat and served whole or by slices.Let us see the preparation now.

                           INGREDIENTS
  • Beef Steak                -  400 gm piece
  • Vinegar                   -  1 tsp
  • SoyaSauce dark            -  2 tbsp
  • Salt                      -  to taste(As SoyaSauce is already                                salted)
  • Pepper powder             -  1 tbsp+ 1 tbsp
  • Water                     -  1/2 cup
  • Carrot                    -  1 roundly sliced
  • Capsicum                  -  1 diced
  • Onions diced              -  1 big
  • Garlic crushed            -  2 tbsp
  • Green chilies             -  3
  • Coriander leaves          -  to garnish
  • Oil                       -  3 tbsp
  • Corn flour                -  1 tbsp
                            METHOD


  • Add salt , vinegar, soyasauce to the steak.


  • Add pepper powder to it.


  • Mix well and marinate it for 30 mins.


  • After 30 mins ,add 1/2 a cup of water and cook in a pressure cooker for 30 mins.


  • When the pressure comes down take out and slice it to pieces.Keep aside the soyasauce juice to add  finally.



  • Heat a kadai and add 3 tbsps of vegetable oil to it.




  • Saute the crushed garlic and saute well.


  • Add carrot slices to it.


  • Add green chilies and onions to it.


  • Saute well till it is translucent.


  • Add 1 tbsp of pepper powder .


  • Mix well.


  • Add capsicum and saute for 1 min.



  • Mix 1 tbsp of cornflour with 2 tbsp of water


  • Add the cornflour mix to it.


  • Add the balance juice of soya sauce to it.


  • Check the salt and add if needed.



  • When the sauce becomes thick turn off the flame.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve along with chapathi,naan,paratha etc ...

VERMICELLI PRAWNS AND CHICKEN SAUSAGE BIRIYANI


Everyone would have eaten Biriyani for sure.We generally use Basmati rice or any other Biriyani rice for preparing it.How many of you have prepared Biriyani with Vermicelli??Vermicelli Biriyani is a very special dish for all Biriyani Lover's especially people who want their biriyani to be spicy.Here I have added sea food and chicken sausage to the biriyani.I am sure all of them will love this.So let us see the preparation now..

                                                           INGREDIENTS
  • Roasted vermicelli                                  - 1 cup
  • Chicken sausage                                     -  4 big
  • Prawns cleaned and de-veined               -  3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder                                       -  1/2+1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder                                  -  1 tsp
  • Hot Red chilly powder                           -  1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder                           -  1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder                                   -  1/4 tsp
  • Onions sliced                                         - 1 cup
  • Ginger  paste                                          - 1 tsp
  • Garlic crushed                                        - 1 big bulb
  • Green chilies                                          - 3 crushed
  • Tomato thinly sliced                              - 1 nos
  • Carrot and beans chopped and cooked  - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee                                                      -  3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped                     -  to garnish
  • Salt to taste
                                                         METHOD
  • Slice the chicken sausages thickly and keep it aside.



  •  Heat a kadai and add 1 tsp of ghee and fry the Chicken Sausages till light brown.


  •  When the sausages becomes soft add 1/2 tsp pepper powder to it and saute well.Transfer this to a plate.


  •  Heat some water in a saucepan ,add little salt and bring it to boil. When it starts to boil add the roasted vermicelli and cook till it becomes tender.Once it is cooked transfer this to a strainer and keep this under the running water.Keep this aside and let the water drains out.


  •  In the same pan add balance ghee to it and add the ginger paste to it.


  •  When it is half done add the crushed garlic and saute till light brown.


  •  Add crushed green chilies to it.


  •  Add sliced onions and saute till it becomes translucent.


  •  Add the masalas to it.


  • Now add the sliced tomato.Saute till the water content is removed from this masala and gets mixed well.


  •  Now add the fried chicken sausage and prawns to it.


  •  Saute this for 5 mins till the prawns get cooked.Now add salt to it.


  •  Next add half cooked chopped beans and carrot to it.Saute this well.


  •  Now add the cooked vermicelli and saute well.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.


       Yummy Vermicelli Biriyani is ready..ENJOY!!!

PEPPER CHICKEN SAUSAGE RICE


Sausage is a food made from ground meat of pork, chicken, beef, mutton and veg.This ground meat is cooked and mixed with spices , salt, and bread crumbs and it is filled in mutton intestine.This is freezed in freezer and used when necessary.Today I am preparing this dish with chicken sausage.For a change I have used brown rice instead of basmati rice.You can use any rice according to your wish.So all of you try today's Sausage rice without fail. Now let us see the preparation..
                        
                                                 INGREDIENTS
  • Chicken sausage                     -  4 large
  • Cooked brown rice                 -  2 cups ( u can use basmathi rice too)
  • Pepper powder                       -  1 tsp+ 1 tsp
  • Cheese cube (salted)              -  1
  • Salt                                         -  pinch(since we are adding salted cheese cubes)
  • Garlic taste enhancer              -  2 pinch
  • Coriander leaves                    -   little.
  • Ghee                                      -   2 tbsp
                                                      METHOD



  •  Heat a kadai add 1 tbsp of ghee and cook the chicken sausage in a very low flame.Make small cuts on this and add 1 tsp of pepper powder.Cook till light brown and when it is cooked, cut into 3 pieces each .


  •  Add 1 tbsp of balance ghee to it and add the cooked brown rice to it.


  •  Mix well.


  •  Add cheese cubes to it and cook in very low flame.


  •  When the cheese melts add pepper powder and salt to it.


  •  Finally add garlic enhancer to it and mix well.


  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

SOYA CHUNKS IN BENGAL GRAM MASALA GRAVY


Soya Chunk as we all know is very rich in proteins.It is also known as textured or texturized vegetable protien.Soya chunks are often used as a meat extender.This is available in two sizes and can be cooked easily.Today I have used Brahmins Kadala masala for preparing this.Let us see the preparation now

                                                   INGREDIENTS
  • Soya bean chunks mini                    -  100 gms
  • Onions sliced                                -   2 medium
  • Ginger paste                                  -  1/2 tsp
  • Garlic chopped                              -  1 tbsp
  • Tomato thinly sliced                     -  1
  • Brahmins kadala masala powder -   3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder                         -   1/4 tsp
  • Coconut grated                            -   1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil                                                -  3 tbsp
  • Mustard seed                               -   1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly                                    -   2 cut into pieces
  • Curry leaves                                -   2 sprig
  • Coriander leaves                          -  as required
                                                  METHOD
  • Wash the soybean chunks and cook adding 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker for 5 mins.
  • Grind the coconut with 1/4 cup of water.Keep it aside.


  •  Heat a kadai.Pour oil and splutter mustard seeds.


  •  Fry the red chilies and curry leaves.Then add the chopped garlic and saute till brownish.


  •  Add sliced onions and ginger paste to it.Saute this till it is translucent.


  •  Add the brahmins kadala masala powder to it and saute for 2 mins.


  •  Now add the sliced tomato to it.Let it mix with the masala.


  •  Add 1/2 cup of water and salt to it.Let the oil appears on the top.


  •  Then add the cooked soybean chunks and combine well.


  •  Add grinded coconut and mix well.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
