BEEF STEAK WITHOUT FRYING


Steaks are available in different types like for Fish,Goat,Beef etc.Beef Steak is a flat cut of beef usually cut perpendicular to the muscle fibers.Today we will see a Beef steak recipe.Beef steaks are usually grilled, pan-fried, or broiled.The more tender cuts from the loin and rib are cooked quickly using dry heat and served whole or by slices.Let us see the preparation now.

                           INGREDIENTS
  • Beef Steak                -  400 gm piece
  • Vinegar                   -  1 tsp
  • SoyaSauce dark            -  2 tbsp
  • Salt                      -  to taste(As SoyaSauce is already                                salted)
  • Pepper powder             -  1 tbsp+ 1 tbsp
  • Water                     -  1/2 cup
  • Carrot                    -  1 roundly sliced
  • Capsicum                  -  1 diced
  • Onions diced              -  1 big
  • Garlic crushed            -  2 tbsp
  • Green chilies             -  3
  • Coriander leaves          -  to garnish
  • Oil                       -  3 tbsp
  • Corn flour                -  1 tbsp
                            METHOD


  • Add salt , vinegar, soyasauce to the steak.


  • Add pepper powder to it.


  • Mix well and marinate it for 30 mins.


  • After 30 mins ,add 1/2 a cup of water and cook in a pressure cooker for 30 mins.


  • When the pressure comes down take out and slice it to pieces.Keep aside the soyasauce juice to add  finally.



  • Heat a kadai and add 3 tbsps of vegetable oil to it.




  • Saute the crushed garlic and saute well.


  • Add carrot slices to it.


  • Add green chilies and onions to it.


  • Saute well till it is translucent.


  • Add 1 tbsp of pepper powder .


  • Mix well.


  • Add capsicum and saute for 1 min.



  • Mix 1 tbsp of cornflour with 2 tbsp of water


  • Add the cornflour mix to it.


  • Add the balance juice of soya sauce to it.


  • Check the salt and add if needed.



  • When the sauce becomes thick turn off the flame.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve along with chapathi,naan,paratha etc ...
