WHITE FOREST CAKE
Imagine a birthday,anniversary,wedding or be it any happy occasion without a cake!!Cakes have a high demand in market now.In this generation,we can see that Cakes have become one of the main course items for many function.We see cakes of different shapes,flavors,sizes.Many talented people have come up with many innovative designs of cakes too.Black forest and White forest cakes are the most readily available cakes in shops.Today am preparing a White forest cake,this has white chocolate as the topping.So here we start with our White Forest preparation.
INGREDIENTS
- Maida - 250 gm
- Sugar powdered - 250 gm
- Egg - 250 gm
- Butter - 250 gm
- Vanila essence - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1.5 tsp heaped
- White choclate grated - 400 gms
- Tinned cherry - as required
- Icing sugar - 4 Tbsp
- Fresh cream - 400 gm
- Sugar syrup - for soaking
- METHOD
- Sieve maida and baking powder well and keep aside.
- Keep egg and butter in room temperature for 1 hr
- In a cake mixer add butter and mix well
- Then add sugar powder to it and make a fluffy paste.
- Add egg one by one and beat well.
- Add vanila essence to it.
- Finally bake in a preheat oven for 30-40 mins at 180 degree.
- Note: PLS COVER THE CAKE WITH AN ALUMINIUM FOIL .
- Allow the cake to cool . Now slice roundly into 3 parts.
- Beat the fresh cream with 4 tbs of icing sugar and make a thick fluffy cream..Now take a cardboard (it is available in market) or a plate and place 2 tbsp of fresh cream . Now place the first layer over it and spray sugar syrup to it.
- Then apply fresh cream over it slightly.Now place the second ( middle) part, spray sugar syrup to it and apply fresh cream again.
- Finally place the down layer upside down.This is done so that the surface will be smooth and plain.Spray sugar syrup again and apply fresh cream thickly on sides too.
- Now grate the white chocolate on sides, upper part and on the edges squeeze some thick fresh cream and place cherrys on it.Keep in refrigerator for 30 mins.
