GOAN GREEN CHICKEN ROAST is  a delicious,easy and simple recipe to cook.It is made with the masalas like coriander leaves,mint leaves, green chilies.So the masala looks greeny.Try out this awesome recipe.

                         INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken                         -  300 gms
  • Green chilies                -  6 to 8
  • Garlic cloves                 -  12
  • Ginger                            -  1 piece
  • Coriander leaves         -  1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves                   -  1/4 cup
  • Jeera powder               -  a pinch
  • Pepper powder           -  1/2 tsp
  • Cloves                           -  7
  • Cinnamon                    -  1
  • Lemon                          -  1/2 part of a big  lemon
  • Salt to taste
                              METHOD




  •  Grind green chilis, ginger, garlic,lemon,coriander leaves,mint leaves, pepper powder, jeera powder, cloves, cinnamon,salt and make a fine paste.


  •  Apply this masala on chicken and marinate for 30 mins.


  •  Fry both sides of chicken on a fry pan.

  • When it becomes brownish switch off the flame and remove it to a serving plate.

ASH GOURD CURD CURRY(KUMBALANGA MORU CURRY)

Kumbalaga moru curry is a traditional Kerala recipe.This curry is called in many names at many places...Kaalan, pulinkarri,moru koottaan,etc....Normally people make this curry with sour curd.But here I didn't use too much sour curd.To reduce the sourness, I added some milk to it while blending.This curry can be prepared with lots of vegetables like,raw banana, ripe banana, koorkka, chena, chembu, nellikka,vellarikka,ripe mango etc..

INGREDIENTS
  • Ash gourd                                     -  1/2 kg
  • Green chilies slited                   -  3
  • Turmeric powder                       -  1/4 tsp
  • Red chilly powder                      -  1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Coconut grated                           -  1.5 cup
  • Green chilies                               -  3
  • Ginger                                          -  1
  • Garlic                                           -  8 cloves
  • Turmeric powder                     -  1/2 tsp
  • Jeera powder                             -  1/4 tsp
  • Pepper corns                             -  1 tsp
  • Shallots                                       -  2 to 3
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
                                       

                                METHOD


  •  Cut the ash gourd and cook in a pressure cooker till one whistle with 1/4tsp turmeric powder, red chilly powder salt and water.



  •  Grind the coconut grated,pepper corns, green chilies, garlic,ginger,jeera,shallots and some curry leaves with some water.After grinding to a fine paste, add 750 ml curd to it and blend well



  •  Add the coconut masala to the cooked ash gourd.


  •  Add salt to it, stir well and heat the curry for 3 mins by stirring.




  •  Add the fried "To Garnish" item on top.



  • Add little sugar to balance the taste.
  • Serve this on a serving dish and enjoy with rice .

                         FRIED CRISPY HONEY CHICKEN 



Some times a change is always essential.Of course we get bored if we have the same routine,same food...right??I too thought of taking a small break from my kitchen world and having dinner with my family in a hotel(change in food taste is also needed..he he).In hotel I ordered Fried Crispy Honey Chicken.It was just awesome and I was so much curious to try this dish on my own.Though I did not have the exact procedures of preparing it,I gave a shot on my own way.Finally,the dish was successfully prepared with good comments from my family and friends.So here am sharing this dish with all of you..Hope you all will like this..

                          INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken boneless                           -  300 gms
  • Red Chilly sauce                            -  1 Tsp
  • Dried Red chilly                            - 6 cut into pieces
  • Soya sauce                                     -  1 tsp
  • Egg                                                -  1
  • Vinegar                                          - 1 tsp + 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cornflour                                    -  1/4 cup
  • Maida                                          -  1/4 cup
  • Honey                                         -  1 to 2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder                      -  2 tsp soak this in little water
  • Sesame seed                               -  1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves   to garnish

                                 METHOD



  •  In a bowl add the boneless chicken pieces and red chilly sauce to it.


  •  Add soya sauce to it and mix well.


  •  Add egg ,1tsp vinegar and salt to it.


  •  Add maida and cornflour to it.If you need add little water.


  •  Mix well together and keep this aside for marination in refrigeartor for 30 mins.





  •  In the same kadai add some oil and fry all the marinated chicken till it becomes crispy.

  •  Saute garlic till light brown, then add the dried red chilly to it.


  •  Add diced onions, salt and saute well


  •  Add the soaked red chilly powder and saute well.



  •  Add honey and vinegar 2tsp to it and mix well.



  •  Add the fried chicken pieces to it and toss it well.When the gravy coats in chciken switch off the flame.


  •  Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top.


  • Garnish with coriander leaves and our FRIED CRISPY HONEY CHICKEN is ready to serve..ENJOY!!!!!!!!

                                EGG OMELET BHAJI- SNACK ITEM




Today we will have a snack recipe.Hope this is a new snack item for you guyss....It is a trial recipe and it was a huge success for me.By seeing the picture no one can identify what is the snack made of.This snack is made of Egg Omelet!!!Yes this fact can only be understood once you start going through my recipe preparation.It's an EGG OMELET BHAJI... a very easy and simple snack too...

                           INGREDIENTS

  • Egg                                  -  4
  • Onion                              -  2 medium  chopped
  • Green chilies                   -  2 chopped
  • Ginger  a small bit
  • Tomato                           - 1 small chopped
  • Cabbage sliced               - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • Ghee                               - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder               - as required to sprinkle on the top of omelet
To make batter
  •  Maida                         -  1/2 cup
  • Egg                              -  1
  • Salt  to taste
  • Red chilly powder      -  1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida                  -  1/4 tsp
  • Water                         -  as required for   making batter


                             METHOD


  •  In a pan heat some oil and add chopped ginger to it.


  •  Add green chillies(Here I have used red colour chillies) and tomato chopped to it.


  •  Add little salt and switch off the flame.


  •  Beat the egg.



  •  Add the sauted items and mix well.


  •  Add cabbage leaves sliced to it.


  •  Add pepper powder and salt and mix well.


  •  Heat the tawa and add ghee 1 tsp.


  •  Make  flattened omelets.


  •  Flip the omelet.When it is ready take out from pan.Sprinkle pepper powder to it


  •  Cut into rectangular shapes and roll out like seen in pic.


  •  In a bowl abeat the egg and little water and add maida to it.


  •  Add red chilly powder salt and asafoetida powder and make a smooth batter.



  •  Dip all the omelet rolls in this batter one by one.


  • Deep fry in oil and serve hot with chutney or tomato sauce.
