Small Anchivies is a type of small fish which have very good calcium content.This anchovies are seen in fresh water.One speciality of this fish is that its bones are very small and flexible so we can consume the bones too.We can prepare a number tasty recipes with this small fish such as fry,pickle, gracy type etc.Now let us see the preparation....
INGREDIENTS
- Small Anchivis - 500gms
- Coconut grated - 1.5 cup
- Green chilies - 5
- Shallots - 15
- Ginger - 1
- Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
- Coconut oil - 1.5 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 3 tbsp
- Cambogia soaked in water - 4 piece
METHOD
- Crush the green chilies, shallots and ginger in a hand motor. Keep this aside.
- Coarsely grind the coconut with turmeric powder.
- Clean the fish and keep it aside.
- In a kadai add the fish , then add the coarsely grind coconut and water.Then add hand crushed shallots, ginger, green chilies and some salt.Mix this well with your hands.
- Add coconut oil and curry leaves and cook it in a very low flame. 15 mins will be more than enough for cooking .If water is there dry it by switching to high flame
