TAPIOCA CHICKEN BALLS
Tapioca is one of the favorite food items of all Kerala people.In Kerala many recipes are prepared out of tapioca.Today I am preparing a special type of ball using Tapioca and chicken and I have named it as 'Tapioca chicken balls'.So friends try out this tasty 'Tapioca chicken balls'.
INGREDIENTS
- Boiled tapioca mashed - 1 cup
- Chicken - 5 to 6 pieces boneless
- Onion chopped - 3tbsp
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Green chilly paste - 1/2tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 2 pinch
- coriander leaves - as required
- Egg - 1 beaten
- Bread crumbs - as required
- Salt to tatse
- Oil
METHOD
- Boil the chicken pieces by adding little salt and water. When it dries crush it in a mixie.
- Boil the tapioca and strain the water.
- Smash the tapioca and make small 7 balls.
- Chop the onions and keep aside.
- Heat a pan,add some oil and splutter little mustard in it.
- Add ginger paste to it.
- Add garlic paste to it.
- Add green chilies to it.
- Saute well.
- Add chicken chopped to it.
- Add pepper powder and garam masala to it.Mix well.
- Make balls with smashed potatoes and make a hole inside it .
- Add coriander leaves to it.
- Fill this mixture inside the tapioca balls and roll it.
- Dip in beaten egg and bread crumbs.
- Heat the oil.
- Fry all the balls in oil.
