VEGETABLE KURMA
INGREDIENTS
- Potato - 1
- Carrot - 1
- Onion - 1
- Garlic - 5
- Tomato - 1
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Sambhar powder - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Coriander leaves
For masala gravy
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Fennel - 1/2 tsp
- Hot green chilies - 6
- Cloves - 4
- Cinnamon - 2
- Cardamom - 1
METHOD
- First,cut all the required vegetable.Slice the onions and keep aside
- Grind the coconut with fennel powder and green chilies together to a fine paste.
- In a cooker heat some oil add the dry masalas and crushed garlic to it.
- Add sliced onions to it.
- Add curry leaves too.
- Add chopped tomatoes too.
- Add turmeric powder to it.
- Saute well.
- Add the cut vegetables to it.
- Saute this.
- Add the grinded coconut masala to it.
- Add little water and salt too.
- Add chilly powder and close the cooker and make a whistle.
- When the pressure goes down open the lid mix well and add sambar powder to it.
- Mix well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve!!
