INGREDIENTS
Tomato 300 gm blended, garlic - 1 bulb- cleaned & crushed, green chillies slit-3, corriander powder- 1 full t sp, jeera powder, 1/2tsp turmeric powder-1/2 tsp pepper powder- 1 full tsp, crushed red chilly- 3/4 tsp, asafoetida powder- as required, corriander leaves chopped as required, water-1 litre, salt
Blended tomato. sour tomato is good for rasam
Heat oil in kadai and add fenugreek seed
add mustard seed
Now add crushed garlic
Saute till golden brown
Add turmeric powder to it
Add corriander powder to it
Add pepper powder to it
Add jeera powder
Add green chillies and saute for few seconds
Now add the blended tomato
Allow it to boil
Add asafoetida and salt
Add water & corriander leaves
When it starts boiling from sides , switch off the fire.. its ready to serve
