INGREDIENTS
POTATO- 600gm
Crushed Shallots- 1/2 cup, Garlic crushed 2 tbsp, Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp,Kashmiri red chilly powder- 2tbsp, salt to taste, oil 3-4 tbsp, ghee- 1 tsp,curry leaves to garnish,mustard seed-1/4tsp
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard seeds
When it pops, add garlic
Saute for few seconds...
If it becomes light brown, add shallots
Saute only till half done, because after adding potatoes we have to saute for some time
Now add turmeric powder
Add chilly powder
mix well
Now u can add potatoes and saute this for 5 mins or till the colour of potato changes
If it is like this
Add water and mix properly
Now u can add salt& boil on high flame for 10-15 mins
