FISH SALAD


Salad is one of the healthy dishes.As we all know people prepare this in different ways using different ingredients.There are people whose faces just become sad on hearing Salad.But to those people today I am preparing a tasty and simple Fish Salad.This can be served as a starter, snack or any time meal.We can use any type of flesh fish meat for this recipe.First we have to apply masala on fish and fry till crispy.While frying we have to crush it with the spatula.Then mix this fried fish with some chopped veggies and peanuts to make it more delicious.Let us move to the presentation now...

                                                           INGREDIENTS
  • Fish meat.                                             -  200 gms
  • Onions chopped                                   -   2 medium onions
  • Green chilies                                       -   4 chopped
  • Tomatoes chopped                               -   1 
  • Ginger chopped                                   -    a pinch
  • Carrot chopped                                    -   2 tbsp
  • Vinegar                                                -   1 tsp or lemon juice
  • Peanuts skin removed                          -    3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste 
  • Coriander leaves                                -   2 tbsp chopped
  • Coconut oil                                        -   1 tsp + 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder                             -   1.5 tsp
  • Turmeric powder                               -   1/2 tsp
  • Salt                                                    -   to taste
  • Pepper powder                                  -   1/2 tsp
                                                           METHOD
  • Clean the fish pieces and apply pepper powder, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.


  •  Fry this in 2 tbsp of coconut oil till crispy.




  •  While frying crush this with the spatula .









  •  Take a bowl and add the chopped onions, green chillies ginger,tomato,and salt. Mix this well.


  •  Add vinegar and add the peanuts to it.


  •  Add the fried fish  to it.


  •  Combine well.Add coriander leaves and Serve.

ONION CURD RAITA




Today the little chef my Son, Daz Kriz has conquered the kitchen.He is preparing Onion Curd salad.All of you will be familiar with this easy recipe.We all prepare this in our day to day life for a sudden salad along with Roti,Rice etc..So check out his simple but awesome recipe friends...

                                                        INGREDIENTS

  • Onion                                       -  2 medium finely chopped
  • Tomato                                    -  1 medium finely chopped
  • Green chilies                           -  2 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves                     -  1 tsp finely chopped
  • Curd                                        -  3/4 cup
  • Milk                                        -  1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves to garnish  
                                                       METHOD

  • Blend the curd and milk together in a bowl.

  • Add onion and tomatoes.Mix well.



  • Add coriander and chilly.



  • Mix well together in a bowl.


  • Add curd.


Now garnish the salad with coriander leaves.Our Onion Raita is ready now!!!

CHICHEN ‘N’ VEG SALAD



How about preparing a healthy dish today??.The word Diet always reminds us of different kinds of salad dishes. Yes today we will prepare one of the Non Veg Salads.Chicken veg salad is a healthy salad. This is a starter dish with raw vegetables and grilled chicken with
a very yummy taste.For dressing I have used only few items like mayonnaise, vinegar,fish  sauce, pepper and salt.So the taste of this salad is awesome….

                              INGREDIENTS

  ·       Chicken breast                    -  2 sides of the breast  boneless piece                                                                                  
  ·       Carrot Julienne                 -  2 medium
  ·       Cabbage shredded             -  ¼ cup
  ·       Tomato                             -  2 Jullienned  (take the outer part only)                                                                                      
  ·       Bell pepper Green             -  1 nos Julienned
  ·       Bell pepper yellow            -  1 small Julienned                                                                                              
  ·       Onions                              -  1big, sliced and separated   
           Mayonise                          - 1 tsp                                                                  
  ·       Soya sauce                       - 1 tsp
  ·       Pepper powder                 -  ¼ tsp
  ·       Vinegar                            -  1tsp+ 1 tsp
  ·       Salt to taste
  ·       Coriander leaves             - as required
  ·       Fish sauce                       -  1 tsp
  ·       Butter                             - 1 tsp
                             
METHOD

  •  Cut all the vegetables as per requirement and keep it aside.



                      
  •  In a pan add some water , sauya sauce , 1 tsp vinegar, salt and cook till the water dries out.                   

                                      



  • Cut the cooked chicken into thick juliennes and fry this in a pan by adding a tsp of butter.




  • When the chicken gets dried switch off the flame and remove from the pan.





  •  Take a bowl and add onions.




  •  Next add cabbage.




  •  Then add carrots.




  •  Then add green bell pepper.




  •  Add tomatoes.




  •  Next add yellow bell pepper.




  •  Now add salt as per taste.




  •  Add pepper powder to it.

  •                           

  •  Add vinegar 1 tsp, 1 tsp mayonise and 1 tsp fish sauce .   


       
                         


  •  Add chicken pieces to it.Mix everything together.




  •  Finally add coriander leaves and mix it again.










Now the tempting delicious chicken veg salad is ready to serve!!!!!
