SAMBHAR WITH AMMAYIS SPECIAL SAMBHAR PODI
INGREDIENTS
I have used only few veggies here:-
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 2
- Potato - 1
- Carrot - 1
- Ladies finger - 3 to 4
- Curry leaves - as required
- Mustard - few
- Oil
- Salt - to taste
- Home made Sambhar powder - 2-3 thsp grind with little water
- Tamarind - little soaked in water
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
METHOD
- Chop all the vegetables and set aside.
- Heat a kadai, add some oil and splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Now add all the vegetables and saute for 2 mins.
- Add the tamarind water,salt to it and cook for some time.Since we have sauted the vegetables it ll take only less time to cook.
- When it is cooked add the grinded masalas to it.
- Add coriander leaves to it.
Serve it on a plate along with rice and enjoy
the real taste of sambhar!!
