We all are familiar with the fried bread rolls with delicious filling.This can be found in almost all bakery shops too. Today's recipe Bread Roll with Cheese and Chicken filling is one of the easiest recipes to cook.This can be served as an Iftar dish, evening snack, or as a starter too.Here I have prepared this in my own style.. Now let us see the preparation.
INGREDIENTS
- Fresh Bread - 1 whole.
- Minced Chicken - 250 gm
- Cheddar Cheese grated - 3 tbsp
- Onions - 1 big chopped
- Green chilies - 5 chopped
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Capsicum chopped - 1 small
- Coriander leaves chopped - as required
- Pepper powder - 1 - 1.5 tbsp(as per your taste)
- Mayonnaise - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Oil for Frying
For Dipping
- Eggs - 3 beaten with 2 tbsp of water
- Bread crumbs - as required ( Here I have used the sides, top and bottom part and then chopped it in the mixer)
For Paste
- Maida - 2 tbsp
- Water - as required to make a fine paste
- Keep ready all the ingredients by side.
- Heat a kadai and add 1 tbsp of oil to it.
- Add the chopped onions to it.
- Add ginger garlic paste to it and saute till it becomes light brown.
- Now add the green chilies to it.
- Then add the minced chicken to it.
- Add pepper powder as per taste.Saute till the chicken gets cooked and becomes dry.
- Add chopped capsicum to it.Cook for 1 min and turn off the flame.
- When it gets cooled add grated cheese to it and mix well.
- Remove it to another plate and add 2 tsp of mayonnaise.Combine them well.The mixture should not be too much loose.Now our filling is ready.
- Remove the sides of the bread and ground the sides and keep it as bread crumbs.
- Take one piece cleaned bread and roll thin to a thin slice with a roller.
- Make a fine paste with maida and water and keep it aside.
- First take 1 tbsp(heaped) of chicken mixture ,keep it on one end leaving the two sides to rub the maida paste. Then rub the 3 sides of bread with maida paste.
- Roll it tightly with our fingers.
- Press all ends tightly to seal it.
- Keep ready all the stuffed bread rolls .
- Now beat the eggs by adding 2 tbsp of water.
- Dip all the stuffed rolls one by one in egg batter.
- Roll this in the bread crumbs.
- Roll nicely with our two hands. Dip the roll once more in bread crumbs and roll it tightly.
- Do the same procedure for all bread rolls and keep them ready to fry.
- Press once again tightly,roll them like a cylinder and set it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Deep fry these rolls in oil.When it turns brown take it out and fry all the bread rolls.
- Now this yummy Fried Bread Chicken and cheese roll is ready to serve.
